In July, board member Malak Heiny was selected as a 2023 David A Bobilya Excellence in Nonprofit Leadership Award nominee. Malak currently serves as City Attorney for the city of Fort Wayne, and has recently completed her final term as an Amani Family Services board member.
Malak’s energy and “can-do” attitude is an incredible asset to our organization and we are grateful to have her continued support.
Amani along with partners at Greater Fort Wayne Inc. and Downtown Fort Wayne deployed a community survey this month to gauged current attitudes toward belonging in our community.
