The Citizenship Prep Class is designed to prepare attendees who are applying for Naturalization.

Overseen by NALA, this 10-week program will prepare attendees for the US Citizenship & Immigrations Services (USCIS) Naturalization Interview, English Test, and Civics Test.

Libby Quintana, Paralegal and Class Instructor

With over 25 years of combined experience in the fields of education, advocacy, and social work, Libby is driven by a passion for promoting cross-cultural understanding and social justice. With personal experience both as an immigrant in Mexico and traversing the complex US immigration system to keep her family together, she is dedicated to putting her skills and abilities to work in support of immigrant and refugee communities.

Jarry Valcarcel, Immigration Attorney

Jarry Valcarcel has exclusively practiced Immigration and Naturalization Law since 2007. As a first-generation immigrant, Jarry’s journey ignited his passion for immigration and naturalization law. Navigating the complexities of the immigration system firsthand inspired him to help others facing similar challenges. He finds the practice deeply rewarding, as it allows him to assist individuals from around the world in obtaining legal status and pursuing the American Dream. Learn More

Zach Pusti, Director of Legal & Victim Advocacy

Zach Pusti first gained experience in legal advocacy and protection for refugees in Cairo, Egypt doing humanitarian work. Before moving back to Fort Wayne in 2025, Zach worked for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Kenya, Malawi, Ethiopia, Egypt and Panama, where he led the development of programs related to refugee resettlement and family reunification. He joins Amani Family Services as Director of the Victim Care and NALA Programs hoping to expand reliable advocacy and support to refugee and immigrant communities in his hometown. Learn More
